ECU Performance Chip Tuning
A vehicle’s engine control unit, also known as an ECU, is the vehicle’s computer that controls how the engine performs and manufacturer settings are not necessarily the best they could be.
Car makers limit their vehicles performance through the ECU, so they can release faster models at a later date at a higher price, making the consumers believe it’s a faster engine. In fact, it’s just the same engine but with different software installed on the ECU.

STAGE 1 is a specially designed remap for your vehicle, it’s been designed to work in conjunction with an original factory configurated or lightly upgraded vehicle to produce magnificent performance, improved drivability and not forgetting fuel economy.
STAGE 2 is an enhanced remap from the stage one, benefiting from upgrades to hybrid turbos, FMIC (intercooler), downpipes, exhaust and induction kits etc. This will result in the best possible outcome, giving you the opportunity to tell us exactly how you want your car to perform throughout its rev range.
STAGE 3 is the maximum upgrade available for your vehicle. If you have a tuned manufactured engine with bigger turbos, bigger injectors or have a custom-built engine this stage is the one for you. The stage 3 map can also be tailored to suit your needs.
Maximum Tuning use the best in economy Remapping files. This provides reprogramming for cars, vans, trucks and commercial vehicles. We are able to work with all size fleets. Choosing Maximum Tuning will make good business sense and provide you with huge savings on fuel costs.
We are working with a medium size logistics group of 100 HGV's covering a combined 7,000,000 road miles each year. Their current fuel cost is £4.37 million pounds per annum. Once we negotiate our contract costs we will target to save up to £650,000 per year. This particular group operates over a 18 month period which saves in total £2 million pounds.

Remapping takes around 60mins, once this is completetd along with any other works. You will see better performance in your vehicles, contribute to saving the environment and enjoy huge savings.
DPF removal is a cost effective way to run your vehicle. It also provides other advantages such as increased performance, increased efficiency, less turbo lag and reduced maintenance costs. Maximum Tuning offer a DPF removal service to modify the DPF unit. We will remove the DPF internal filter. Once this is completed we will re programme the ECU and remove any DPF related issues from the vehicles software. (This is a vital part of the process)

DTC removal is a similar process to EGR and DPF. We recommend using this service if you have any faults on your dashboard relating to DTC error codes.
This service is simple and effective and can be completed in a timely manner.
Maximum Tuning offer the Launch control software, for most vehicles. To achieve optimum traction for the wheels, power we will carryout a launch control software managment. RPMs are limited to 2500-2750rpm at 2-4MPH. Once we pre-determin speed and its reached the RPM limiter will work automatically and move to normal RPM and allow maximum power.

Maximum Tuning can offer cars the Hard Cut Limiter. The limiter programs the ECU to cut fuelling at a set RPM (normally 4300rpm) making the revs bounce off the limiter, replicating petrol applications.

Our Pop and bang remapping service gives your tuned vehicle a great sound. We use a careful process, which is done with the right equipment and tools. At Maximum Tuning we offer two stages of Pop and bang tuning ensuring a quality service. Most of our customers aim for a custom intensive sound which offers moderate pop and bang levels. (Still giving a great sound) Pop and bang is available on petrol and some diesel vehicles including turbocharged and supercharged vehicles.
